Namaste!

Last night my Creativity and Innovation class attended Laughing Buddha Yoga Studio, located in South Park.  We had an hour-long yoga session led by Dawn, an extremely talented instructor.  Besides feeling completely cleansed after leaving the studio, I felt a strong desire to continue with the yoga practice.

This is not something I am proud to admit but I absolutely despise working out! So any "extra" that can get me motivated enough to get off the couch and do something active is extremely helpful!  That is why I have decided to dedicate this post to stylish yoga attire.  This may sound silly to those of you that hit the gym daily - but clothes get me excited, and when I'm excited I can pump myself up to want to work-out.

Having no idea where to begin, I decided to do a Google search for "discount yoga clothes."  While searching for inexpensive yoga clothes, I have come to find that most of it is pretty expensive.  I guess you do what you gotta do to get in shape though, right?

The website I liked best is The Y Catalog.  They have everything needed for yoga - men and women's attire, mats, blankets, towels, DVD's, etc.  I decided this site was worth featuring (even those the prices are higher) because it is a one-stop shop for everything you need!

I find it necessary that I showcase my favorite outfit :)

An Eagle and a Prayer Racerback by Be Love - $35.00

Classic Capri by Shakti Activewear - $47.96

I will not be splurging on an expensive outfit for yoga until I am sure that I want to continue with it regularly.  So for now, I will be purchasing a pair of more cost-friendly yoga capris from the following website - Yoga Pants Etc.

Have you ever gone to a yoga class?  What was your favorite part?  Have you found a place to buy yoga clothes that help you fit the part?

  1. Love the yoga wear! I too left last night feeling awesome - today a little sore, but last night was awesome. I want to keep up with yoga too and plan to attend some of the Karma sessions. For $5 I don't think you can beat it! Perhaps we can go together?

  3. I have been to yoga class and it thoroughly kicked my butt. It was a great time and very eye opening. Don't tell any of my friends, I have a reputation to protect, but I am looking forward to going back.

Here is your biggest challenge of the class. Find a way to make Thom, Jeff, David, Kenyon, Jim and myself look good. Some of us need, read me, some good fashion advice.
